Scott Veazey—a Tremé-based renovator of historic buildings—has opened an art-filled bar steps from the congested Elysian Fields / Claiborne Avenue intersection, according to records from the Louisiana Secretary of State.

The venue opened featuring artwork for sale from artist Robin Durand.

The Preservation Resource Center posted about Veazey's plans for the building back in 2018:

This former rooming house has been vacant and blighted for over a decade, and will have a new life as an entertainment restaurant, bar, and 8-room hostel
The location is nearly caddy-corner from Melba's Poboys, across from the lot where City Council approved a new drive-thru Smoothie King.

Veazy was previously highlighted by The Lens as a proponent of short-term rentals in the area.
